Cranbrook
Cranbrook town site is situated on the fringe of the Western Australian wheat-belt and is the gateway to the Stirling Range National Park. Located on the Great Southern Highway, where it meets the Albany Highway, 91km from Albany, 330km from Perth and 41km from Mount Barker. Frankland River 40km west, home to wineries and olive groves is the other major town site in the Shire of Cranbrook.

* Sukey Hill Lookout Located 5km east of the Cranbrook townsite, off the Salt River Road. Take advantage of the view to the salt lakes to the north and east, farmlands to the west and panoramic view of the Stirling Range to the South. The area is abundant in wildflowers in spring.
* Stirling Range National Park Stirling Range National Park 15km east of the Cranbrook townsite, encloses the only major mountain range with in the southern half of Western Australia. The rugged peaks, which rise to more than 1000 metres above sea level, feature stark cliff faces, sheltered gullies, magnificent views and a rich diversity of unique and colourful wildflowers. The park is one of the world’s most important areas for flora with 1500 species, many of which grow nowhere else, packed within its boundaries.

* Lake Poorrarecup Lake Poorrarecup with its white sandy shore and clear water is the largest lake in the Cranbrook Shire, located 35km west of the Cranbrook townsite. Swimming, boating, canoeing, waterskiing and sailing are just some of the diversions available to pass the time away at this beautiful lake.
